The calm before the storm…

August 6th, 2017

Let’s try this again. Today is the start of a new day. I finally was able to get together enough money to make the down payment on my website, so maybe there is a better chance of making connections to people who might be interested in reading what I have to say.
And possibly, by osmosis, they might eventually find their way to this blog, so therefore, I have to try to present a reasonable facsimile of being human in my writing, instead of being an upright, over-emotional two-year-old who has found their Mother’s keyboard to bash away at for the afternoon.
So, let’s see if we can make that work.
I posted something for the creative aspect of this blog n my business page at Facebook today that might work… let’s see if I can find it again to put it here as well.
“I know, I haven’t been able to get out for a couple days… sorry about that. But I have been very busy working on getting things done on several projects, so that now it begins to look like I might possibly be ready for the beginning of hat and glove season this year!
Currently, I have at least ten sets of hat, gloves and scarves, and four sets that are only partial; hat and gloves, or hat and scarf. The full sets are only 35$, and they can be made in child sizes and baby sizes as well, for as little as twenty dollars.
Or of course, there are the endless numbers of glove sets that are currently in stock! And more of the variable sizes of crocheted bag for putting almost anything into.
Teddy Bear clothes are currently available only in 12 inch size, but I am always taking orders for this newest line of products!
Sweaters are a bit slower, and of course, as always, the blankets are special orders. But we are always open, so if you are interested, there are pictures to base your orders on. And as always, thank you for your patronage.”

Perhaps this will work better.
After all, I have been told that writing is an unemotional business, and emotions only have a place in the feelings of a writer’s characters, never in their own lives. So, if I don’t say anything about my own feelings, and keep my life to myself, then perhaps I might sell more books. After all, even one sale is more than I have sold so far, and that would make that a good thing, right?
