I haven’t been able to be here in a few days, but today I am finally able to get back to work. I found a way to be able to get to a computer during the day, without it being MY computer, so I am not interfering with hubby’s sleeping, but I am still able to get what I need to do, done. Even though being out on the ‘Net interferes with my writing time… at least for my stories.
So because I do actually need to write in both places, I should probably keep this one short so that I can get back to working on the story that is up on my laptop at home.
This post is here to make sure that there has been something written here this week. I hope that the people– yeah, all one of you!– who are reading this blog are patient with my ‘scattergun effect’ writing of late. Sorry that it has been so patchy, but I have been busy. And I mean that literally and literarily.
First, with getting Robert to the hospital twice early this month and then dealing with the literal dozens of interruptions to my main writing habits over the rest of the month… I am only now finally able to get back on SOME kind of an even keel again! Not to mention the fact that I broke two toes the other day…! GRRRRRR!!!!!!!
But the best part? Summer is ending soon, and that means that the mushrooms will be blooming soon, and that means that the girls will be out hunting, and that also further means that I will be able to spend more time on my writing and on my crocheting. And that is important to get done too. at least while my toes heal. Then I will be out harvesting too, trying to raise as much money as I can for the winter.
After all, Shane said that I should prep for ChicoCon next year and have plenty of stuff to sell. That means that I should have several copies of any books that I have published by then available to be sold at the convention. But that isn’t until next August, and though I hope that I will have had several sales by then, I am realist enough to know that it might not happen the way I want it to.
And of course, I am trying to do several things at once while I am here, to try to save myself some time later. So I will close for now, with the thought that I will be back later.
